Doomsong: Lord Have Mercy Upon Us - Free Demo
Dear Followers,
Thanks for hanging on so long between our Dungeons and Design project and... now. We hope the patience has paid off, because we've been hard at work all that time. To show off what we've been toiling away on, we just released a free 120 page demo for the TTRPG project soon to appear on Kickstarter.
Our upcoming project is called Doomsong: Lord Have Mercy Upon Us. The full Kickstarter will include two beautiful hardbound books (in the style of Jim Henson's Labyrinth and Dark Crystal Adventure Games, which Chris and Jack designed), a metal Doomcoin, a cloth map showing the lost borderkingdom of Lethe, and a few surprises we haven't officially announced yet.
Please peruse the files we've just made available at your leisure. They include 2 different version of the demo (1 full-spec, 1 reduced), 1 character sheet (instructions for folding can be found inside the demo) and a map of our upcoming medieval folkhorror campaign, Lord Have Mercy Upon Us. The demo takes you through one (yes, ONE) location found on this enormous map. It also provides a few of the terrible creatures and characters you can expect to mess with you while exploring it.
If you like what you see, a follow on Kickstarter will really help us out. We are not accepting payments for this demo, despite its enormous size. However, sharing it around your social media accounts, showing it to your horror-loving friends, and running a game or two with your friends would more than pay for the time it has taken to prepare these files.
Thank you for your time! We hope that Doomsong: Lord Have Mercy Upon Us lives up to all your spooky season hopes and dreams!
