Dungeons & Designs: Volume 1
A downloadable volume
20 system agnostic adventures that can be dropped into your tabletop roleplaying games, as and when you need.
Each booklet contains an overview of the plot, locations, important characters, random item tables, and more. Every adventure also comes with a postcard-sized map of the locations for easy cross-referencing.
These 20 adventures can quickly and easily be deployed as one-shot stories, random encounters that crop up 'between' sites in a campaign, or locations within a city of your own design. For example...
๐จ๐จ Spoiler Alert!! ๐จ๐จ
Coral Sands, a 6-star resort with an unimpeachable reputation, offers the party a chance to relax in high-quality comfort. However, the restaurant menu has gone wrong and illithids are cropping up in the most inconvenient places.
In Feywild Hunt, your players awaken from a Total Party Kill with a host of NPCs at the feasting table of an Elfin Lord. He congratulates his guests for their valour and offers them a second chance at life... if they survive the hunt.
Gretta's Greenhouse presents a large, overgrown greenhouse that can be placed inside a bustling metropolis or on the outskirts of civilisation. Inside, players will encounter gardening-related puzzles and cannibal pixies.
The Ice Cave Death adventure contains rabbit farmers who have corralled a gigantic ice worm so as to harvest its valuable 'worm-fur'. However, the ice tunnels have become unsafe; somehow, draugr have been unleashed.
๐จ๐จ Phew, we made it. End of Spoiler Alert ๐จ๐จ
These 20 adventures are all very different from one another. Some suggest time limits to increase tension, others contain guard timetables or scheduled events to give you quick, easy access to a story's moving parts. Most contain cool items we hope your players will enjoy (don't worry, no world-ending swords or cloaks of infinite lifespan).
As always, we are enormously grateful to the guests who helped us design some of the adventures: Lance Wilson||@lancorz, Ross Connell||@moregamespls, and Sarah Jack||@sarahjackc. Thanks a million for your hard work on The Infinometer, Trial of Thieves, The Millipede Express, and many others.
